Good story, interesting plot. However, I found it slightly dry. Finished the story more because I wanted to know what happened than because I was really interested in the characters personally. Definitely had a great twist I didn't expect, so it was worth it for a quick read.Product details

I must say to begin with, I was pleasantly surprised. This has a touch of paranormal in it. It isn't forced down your throat. And it makes sense and actually adds to the story. This is not a large book, having only 177 pages which of course makes for a quick read. A really good read! It begins when Ben investigates the possibility of opening a vacation getaway comparable to an affordable Hawaii. He takes his wife with him to explore. But, she goes missing! He spends so much time searching for her before he gives up. He's given information two years later that she may actually still be on the island. He searches once again. What he finds.......is a lot of interesting information. Folklore, partially correct, partially changed to make those who suffer feel better. What Ben soon learns changes his life, forever. Along with an entire island of people's live are forever changed. Interesting ending, and who you think you are despising may just be who you cheer for in the end. Very good book. I received as giveaway win and am quite happy that I did. I highly recommend the book!
