this is the closest many will get to a pub hang out with rick telling old stories. funny, witty. great read. looking forward to more books like this from rick.
The pluses Rick Wakeman is EXTREMELY funny most of the time, has very few illusions about how seriously to take the "rockstar" life (or, make that "how HE took the rockstar life," given that at almost 70 he's slowed down considerably), and his good heart shows throughout in spite of two heart attacks. The biggest minus blimey, mate, do you need to go on and on about much alcohol you consumed over the last 6 decades??? At first, the tales of drunken debauchery are amusing, but after awhile they get VERY tiresome. Fortunately, booze is not the only cause for humor throughout this book, and whether or not your a fan of Wakeman's music (I love his Yes stuff, his solo output not so much), his anecdotes will probably make you laugh hard, or at least raise a smile.
